VOLUNTEERING CHANGES AT AYSO

Attention all volunteers or potential volunteers for Fall AYSO 2019

Due to new national requirements aimed at increasing player safety, you will notice a change while volunteering. If you register as a volunteer for New Hartford AYSO, there are some additional steps that need to be taken. If you sign up to volunteer you will see the following message -

Thank you for completing phase 1 of your volunteer registration for AYSO. The next step is to submit your information to Sterling Volunteers to process your background check.

Sterling Volunteers will send you a link from the following email address: [email protected] to enter your information and complete the background check process. You will have 72 hours to complete the process, so we ask that check your email daily to ensure you received the email from them.

If you do not receive the email from Sterling Volunteers, please email [email protected]

Thank you again for applying to volunteer for AYSO!

You will receive an email to complete a background check. That will require a few steps and will cost 25 per volunteer. Please do not let this discourage you from volunteering. If you volunteer and go through the background check and pay the fee, New Hartford AYSO will reimburse you for the volunteer fee in August.

If you would rather not go through these steps at the time you register your player you will be able to go through the process at a volunteer registration night where we will get you registered and reimburse you at that time.
